Punky Colour in Violet (Put some purple in my hair!!!)

I took that plunge and now I have purple streaks in my hair that I am in love with.  I used Punky Colour's Violet because I am enamored with that color to begin with.  So I bleached some small sections of my hair which really helped it hold.  I kept adding more streaks over the course of a few days.

Hanging with my sis face.

I think you guys get the picture! My hair is curled in every picture, but I assure you it still looks amazing straight.  I can't wait to add more, but I also like the one-sided accenting.  Opinions?

Victoria's Secret The Heavenly Look and Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 02 Hot Chocolate

Victoria's Secret The Heavenly Look is a set that includes an eye shadow trio, eye liner, bronzer, perfume, and mascara.  This is the warmer set with more neutral products.  It was 50% off which made it $15.  I had to get it!!  Check out your local Victoria's Secret before they are all gone.

In this post, I am just going to review the eye shadow trio along with Essences's Long Lasting Eyeliner in 02 Hot Chocolate.  I will review the rest of the set when I use it.

So as expected, I love this eyeshadow!  The trio is called Radiant and they don't sell it separately that I've noticed.  They are all very shimmery, but pigmented.  The first shadow is a champagne with a slight gold.  The middle shadow is a light peachy bronze and the last is medium brown with a gold shimmer.  I'm a huge fan of Victoria's Secret Makeup and I hope they keep coming out with lovely products.

Essence's Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Hot Chocolate is super smooth upon application and pigmented.  It's not smooth and almost wet feeling like the UD 24/7 eyeliner pencils, but it still glides on pleasantly.  You do not need to layer it in order for it to show up.  It has strong lasting power because the swatch I did below is still faintly on my arm after 2 days, that's 2 showers.

You can tell where I put each shadow from the trio.  Hot Chocolate is both lining my upper lid and waterline.

Splat Washables (Temporary Hair Color) in Purple Swag

So of course I really like the trend with long hair that has multicolored streaks but I'm sorta not willing to take the plunge and dye my hair permanently.  Especially because I know the aftermath of having such colors as green and blue in the hair.  But I thought I'd give Splat Washables a try after reading about it in a magazine.  I bought Purple Swag which comes out very much like a magenta rather than the lavendar purple you see on the box.

It comes with a tube of temporary hair color and brush similar to a mascara wand.  I suggest taking a quarter of an inch thick piece of hair to streak because it will require more dye than you think.  Also make sure your hair is thoroughly brushed out before hand and knot-free, otherwise the wand will be difficult to run through your hair.

I combed my hair out after it dried with my normal brush so it blended in with the rest of my hair.

I also want to show you guys two highlightling jobs I did.  I'm not a pro, but dying and highlighting people's hair is something I enjoy on the side.

I just did all over highlights here, but I had previously lowlighted her hair a few months ago.
Here, we were going for an Olivia Wilde type ombre.  Excuse the poor lighting, but the hair is not yellow at the ends on the right and left, it is beige like it is in the middle.
I wanna get these little girls adopted.  I love them.

Birthday Makeup and Small Update

Considering my birthday was back on April 7th, I'm sorry to be so late and terrible with blogging, but I've had to stare at computer for every single class, designing on the computer as well as writing long assignments and papers.  I'm still trying to catch my breath.

So for my birthday in Chicago, this is the makeup I wore:
Face: Revlon Colorstay for Normal Skin in Buff (sometimes it just works better with my shiny complexion) Concealer: MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC15 (under eyes)
Powder: MAC Mineralize
Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, Cargo Water Resistant Bronzer
Blush: Smashbox Shimmer Lights in Prism
Lips: Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee

Eyeshadow: L'Oreal Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow in Midnight Blue, Bootycall and YDK from the Naked 2 Palette
Mascara: Prestige Biggest Lashes
Eyeliner: Sephora Waterproof Smokey Cream Liner in Matte Black (top), Revlon Matte Luxurious Kohl Eyeliner in Pure White (waterline)

Here's a picture of just Midnight Blue over UDPP in Eden:
Sorry I was wearing a face mask and decided to put it on then take a pic then...smart.

The Night Out:

I recently rescued some baby squirrels that were dumped on me by two strange men with the help of my friend and a kind doctor. Aren't they the cutest??!!

I pretty much wore this eyeshadow everyday at Coachella, it never broke during travel and it never faded from my lids even in the hot sun (I did use primer though).
