Victoria's Secret Holiday Limited-Edition Midnight Glamour Deluxe Eye Palette Review

This is a decent palette of neutral shades and dark blue, but I would think everyone already kind of has these colors somewhere in their makeup collection already.  I do have to say that they are very pigmented though with the navy being a little less.  There's also a gel liner similar to the one in the Metallic Eyes palette from VS reviewed a few posts ago.  It is also not really that great but does function as a decent and easily smudgeable liner.  The brush that the palette comes with isn't one I'd use with this set, but maybe hang on to it for other eye makeup.  The packaging is crazy because the lid is a giant blue gem and is very heavy.  I can't say I hate it though, it's funky and I like funky.  It's definitely not something you could easily travel with though.
Swatched without primer underneath.
So Pros:
-Most shadows have great pigmentation.
-Cute and interesting packaging that comes with a mirror.
-Adriana Lima models the shadow which I've attempted to duplicate.
-Gel liner is smudgeable.
-Can achieve pretty day looks to night looks.
-On sale right now at victoriassecret.com

Cons:
-Common colors.
-Navy is not pigmented like the rest.
-Gel liner not very deep nor does it have the best staying power.

I don't have the Hypergloss used on the brow bone in the picture of Adriana, but I used everything else in the palette except for the bronze shade like the instructions said.  Gray shade from lid to crease, navy in outer corner and lash line, champagne on the brow bone and inner eye, and the gel liner to line upper and lower lash line.

So all in all they are decent shadows.  I wasn't exactly able to achieve the look because the blue isn't like the Adriana photo in person, but I would wear these shadows on a daily basis.

I think it's the kind of shadow that you can wear to work. I like how you blended the colors on your lids.

It looks gorgeous, hun! :)
